Volleyball Game Preview: Hampshire Whip-Purs vs. Prairie Ridge Wolves + How To Watch

The Hampshire Whip-Purs will head out on the road to square off against the Prairie Ridge Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Hampshire sitting on ten straight wins and Prairie Ridge on four.

On Tuesday, Hampshire was able to grind out a solid victory over Crystal Lake Central, taking the game 2-0.

Hampshire easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Peyton Wurtz was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Prairie Ridge earned a 2-0 win over Jacobs on Tuesday.

Prairie Ridge easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.

Hampshire's record now sits at 22-4. As for Prairie Ridge, their record is now 15-2.

Hampshire was able to grind out a solid victory over Prairie Ridge in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Whip-Purs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
