Mariner put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Parrish Community Bulls onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Given the Tritons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Bulls are ranked 159th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carly Paz and Olivia Hinote scored both of Mariner's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Mariner's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Parrish Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1.

When Mariner and Parrish Community next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Mariner will try to stop North Fort Myers' three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mariner's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Parrish Community's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Parrish Community will challenge Palmetto and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
