After a string of three wins, Jackson's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Kentridge Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Chargers are ranked 16th).

Jackson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Kentridge, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jackson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glacier Peak at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026. Kentridge and South Pasadena will round out the year against one another at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
