Football Game Preview: Menendez Falcons vs. Yulee Hornets + Official Tickets

The Menendez Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Yulee Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Menendez is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Menendez's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Matanzas on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 14-0 to the Pirates. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Menendez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Harmon and Kareem Preston. Another thorn in Matanzas' side was Bennett Cornelison, who forced one fumble and made 17 total tackles.

Meanwhile, Yulee played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Raines, falling 58-6. The Hornets have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Yulee's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Menendez, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Menendez took their victory against Yulee in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 30-8 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Hornets' Ethan Myers, who rushed for 127 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Falcons to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
