Basketball Recap: DJ Holloway Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Harrisburg

Dayton won the last time they faced Harrisburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dayton Pirates took down the Harrisburg Eagles 53-38.

Dayton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DJ Holloway out in front who went 5 of 8 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Garrison, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 16 points.

Dayton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Harrisburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Dayton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-52 defeat against De La Salle North Catholic on the 13th. As for Harrisburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-64 loss against Regis on the 13th.
