Softball Recap: El Cerrito Gauchos vs. Vallejo Redhawks

While El Cerrito didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Vallejo Redhawks on Wednesday as the El Cerrito Gauchos made off with a 17-0 win. Fans of the Gauchos have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Natalia Gawlikowski and Courtney Miles made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Gawlikowski pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Miles struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
