Baseball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Normandy's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Walsh Jesuit Warriors on Monday. The Invaders were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2017.

Normandy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-7. As for Walsh Jesuit, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Normandy will take on Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walsh Jesuit, they will face off against Padua Franciscan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
