Saegertown waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Rocky Grove Orioles by a score of 10-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 last Tuesday.

Blake Leslie was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Burchill, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Saegertown pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Rocky Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saegertown will challenge North East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grape Pickers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rocky Grove, they will square off against Cambridge Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
