Softball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster and Buffalo Gap squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lancaster had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bison. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kelsie Cox was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Buffalo Gap, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lancaster nor Buffalo Gap have any future games scheduled.
