De Smet Jesuit suffered their biggest loss since April 5, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to the Dunlap Eagles. The loss put an end to the Spartans' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, De Smet Jesuit fell to 2-1. As for Dunlap, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.
