Basketball Recap: Wesson Comes Up Short

Wesson lost against Jefferson County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wesson Cobras were beaten by the Jefferson County Tigers 69-28. The contest marked the Cobras' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wesson and nudges their season record down to 4-14. As for Jefferson County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

Wesson will challenge Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Jefferson County, they will square off against Port Gibson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
