Volleyball Recap: Carlyle Gets the Win

Carlyle won the last time they faced New Athens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians/Lady Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Yellow Jackets.

Carlyle easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21.

Despite the loss, New Athens saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ally Barr had eight assists and three aces.

The victory got Carlyle back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Carlyle will head out to square off against Altamont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Athens, they will take on Wesclin in a tournament on Friday.
