Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Science Academy Comes Up Short

Magnolia Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Webb Gauls, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gauls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-9.

Webb was led to victory by Gianna Rabida and Keeley Cheung. Rabida had six digs and five aces, while Cheung had five kills and four aces. Rabida has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last six times she's played.

Magnolia Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Webb, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Magnolia Science Academy has already played their next contest (against Avalon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Webb, they will venture away from home to challenge Calvary Chapel on Tuesday.
