After a string of three wins, Argonaut's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Durham Trojans by a score of 2-1.

Alayna Critchfield paced Argonaut's offense, picking up six kills. Critchfield got some help from Mia Maggi and her 11 assists. Finally, AJ Schultz kept Argonaut's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Argonaut's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Durham, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Argonaut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Oakmont on the 20th. As for Durham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against San Francisco Waldorf on the 20th.
