Volleyball Recap: Champlain Valley Union Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Burlington

Champlain Valley Union faced Burlington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Redhawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seahorses. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Seahorses recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Champlain Valley Union's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Burlington, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
