            Basketball Recap: Wray Eagles vs. Wiggins Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            If Wray was riding high  fresh off their  70-40 takedown of Frontier Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wray Eagles took a hard  50-34 fall against the Wiggins Tigers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the  38-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in February of 2024.

 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Gracee Linman, who  posted eight  points. Linman is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as she's  posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's  played.
 Wiggins' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Tenleigh Lorenzini led the charge by  putting up ten points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Ali Beauprez, who  earned seven  points and four  steals.
Wray's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Wiggins, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.
 Looking ahead, Wray will head out to  face off against Akron  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Wiggins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
