Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Eagles vs. North Creek Jaguars

The Arlington Eagles will square off against the North Creek Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Arlington was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-57 to Lake Stevens.

Meanwhile, North Creek hadn't done well against Eastlake recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. North Creek took down Eastlake 65-49.

North Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
