Baseball Recap: Talladega Takes a Loss

Talladega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Saturday.

Talladega's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will welcome Anniston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
