New Kent can attribute much of their success to Abby McLaughlin, who had nine digs and two aces.
Colonial Heights' loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for New Kent, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.
Colonial Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Kent, they will head out on the road to challenge Grafton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grafton will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something New Kent surely won't give up without a fight.
