Basketball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer was the 38-24 winner over Randolph when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Homer Knights took a 66-51 bruising from the Randolph Cardinals on Thursday. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Homer still got an impressive performance from Junius Snowball, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Randolph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Homer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-29 loss against Tri County Northeast on the 21st. As for Randolph, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-43 defeat against Wausa on the 17th.
