Softball Recap: Forest Park Comes Up Short

Forest Park lost against Southridge back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rangers took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rheyse Fleck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Southridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Forest Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-11 defeat against Northeast Dubois on the 20th. As for Southridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-6 win against Princeton on the 20th.
