Recap: Westside Wolves vs. Lamar Texans
The Westside Wolves stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Lamar on the road to the tune of 62-31. The win was familiar territory for Westside who now have eight in a row.
It was another big night for Neso Anisiobi, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmaiya Haulcy, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Madison Tran and Madison Williams certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Tran scored 11 points, while Williams scored five points along with four steals.
Westside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a massive bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Lamar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Westside will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. Bellaire is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Lamar, they will head out on the road to square off against Westbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
