Basketball Recap: Portville Takes a Loss

Portville lost against Gowanda back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Portville Panthers fell 69-56 to the Gowanda Panthers. Portville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Portville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Gowanda, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Portville will square off against Ellicottville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gowanda has already played their next game (against Cattaraugus-Little Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
