Basketball Recap: Seagoville Comes Up Short

Seagoville lost against Wilson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seagoville Dragons were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to the Wilson Wildcats.

When it comes to explaining why Seagoville lost, don't look at Antaijha Brown. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points.

Wilson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kam Rose, who went 5 for 12 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Harper Gibbs, who had seven points.

Seagoville's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Wilson, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-15.

Seagoville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
