Basketball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Kingsley-Pierson finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were beaten by the Hinton Blackhawks 69-19. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kingsley-Pierson moved to 4-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Hinton, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Kingsley-Pierson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Storm Lake at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
