Softball Game Preview: Fulton City Bulldogs vs. Fulton County Pilots

For the second straight game, Fulton City will face off against Fulton County. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Pilots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton City is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Fulton County a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

Fulton City headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for five straight, but Fulton County let them put that streak behind them. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Pilots with a sharp 22-5 victory on Monday. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Madison Acosta was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Niasia Kinney, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Fulton City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .848. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Fulton County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fulton City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
