Baseball Game Preview: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Dalton Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Hillsdale will face off against Dalton. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hillsdale will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Hillsdale was able to grind out a solid win over Dalton, taking the game 5-2.

Aiden Hoffman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brock Bower, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kael Lewis was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hillsdale pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Dalton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
