Football Recap: Garnet Valley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Garnet Valley can now relate to. They were beaten by the Chester Clippers 38-7 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Clippers are ranked 22nd).

Garnet Valley's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Chester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Garnet Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester, they have already played their next matchup, a 27-13 win against Bayard Rustin on the 15th.
