Basketball Recap: College Park Academy Comes Up Short

College Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-7 loss at the hands of the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-29 back in December of 2024.

College Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

College Park Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-19 win against International High School at Largo on the 18th. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-8 victory against Central on the 18th.
