Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kyla Lambeck and Avvia Herman Lead Whitehall to Victory

Whitehall won the last time they faced Alma Center Lincoln and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Norse blew past the Hornets 3-0.

Whitehall was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-12.

Leading Whitehall to victory were Avvia Herman and Kyla Lambeck. Herman had 13 digs and four aces, while Lambeck had 22 assists and ten digs. That's the most digs Lambeck has posted over her last six matchups.

Despite the defeat, Alma Center Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mikeala Wagner had 20 digs and five aces. Wagner is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory got Whitehall back to even at 8-8. As for Alma Center Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Whitehall has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Cochrane-Fountain City on the 2nd. As for Alma Center Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Independence/Gilmanton on the 2nd.
