University Lab had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Zachary Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

University Lab was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7, 25-16.

University Lab's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Zachary, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Lab will face off against Hammond at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zachary, they will take on St. John at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
