Williston had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-42 victory over The Villages Charter Buffalo. That's two games straight that the Red Devils have won by exactly ten points.

Williston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashlyn Young led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Young a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Tiona Wilkinson, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

Williston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.

The Villages Charter's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Herva Brutus, who had eight points and 22 boards. Zion Mcrae was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Williston has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for The Villages Charter, their record is now 18-5.
