The Garfield Community Learning Center Golden Rams will head out on the road to challenge the North Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Garfield Community Learning Center, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Garfield Community Learning Center was able to grind out a solid win over East, taking the game 57-46. Given Garfield Community Learning Center's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while East is ranked 571st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to North, who are still winless after their 12th match. They were dealt a 73-41 loss at the hands of Aquinas on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat North has suffered since December 12, 2023.
The victory makes it two in a row for Garfield Community Learning Center and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for North, their loss was their 17th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-12.
Everything came up roses for Garfield Community Learning Center against North in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 67-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garfield Community Learning Center since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
