Soccer Recap: Potomac Senior Comes Up Short

Potomac Senior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodbridge Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Woodbridge this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat on Monday.

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Woodbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.
