Volleyball Recap: Overfelt Comes Up Short

Overfelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the San Jose Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-15, 25-11.

Overfelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for San Jose, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Overfelt will square off against rival James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Jose is set to take on their familiar foe Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
