Baseball Recap: Rigby Takes a Loss

Rigby lost against Capital back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rigby Trojans fell 8-4 to the Capital Golden Eagles. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kace Stapleton and Bentley Brower did some serious damage despite the final result: Stapleton went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Brower scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4. That's the most hits Stapleton has posted since back in April of 2024.

Rigby now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Capital, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Rigby had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
