Baseball Recap: Bolivar Comes Up Short

Bolivar lost against Marshfield back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Liberators fell 11-6 to the Bluejays. The Liberators' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Remmer Carr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Remington Manes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bolivar's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Marshfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolivar will host Parkview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshfield, they will be playing at home against Strafford at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
