Basketball Game Preview: Divine Child Falcons vs. Shrine Catholic Knights

Shrine Catholic will be up against a hot Divine Child squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Divine Child blew past Bishop Foley, posting a 66-16 victory. The contest marked the Falcons' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Shrine Catholic hadn't done well against Our Lady of the Lakes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went Shrine Catholic's way against Our Lady of the Lakes as Shrine Catholic made off with a 49-25 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Divine Child pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Shrine Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Divine Child didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Shrine Catholic in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-41 victory.
