Lowndes skates past Valdosta with ease

The Lowndes Vikings can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 60-28 win over Valdosta at home. The victory was familiar territory for Lowndes who now have four in a row.

Lowndes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aryana Thomas led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Kimora Wade was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.

Lowndes' win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Valdosta, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowndes will take on Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 512 points over their last eight games. As for Valdosta, Valdosta and Colquitt County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
