Basketball Recap: Baxter Springs Takes a Loss

Baxter Springs and Girard squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Baxter Springs had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Girard Trojans 56-9. The defeat leaves the Lions still looking for their first win of the season.

Baxter Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Girard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Baxter Springs nor Girard have any future games scheduled.
