Basketball Game Preview: South Hadley Tigers vs. Millis Mohawks

The South Hadley Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Millis Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Hadley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Millis likes a good challenge.

South Hadley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Carver 55-34. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Millis won against Wahconah Regional last Tuesday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Millis took down Gardner 53-34. The victory was familiar territory for the Mohawks, who have now won four games in a row.

South Hadley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. Millis' win bumped their record up to 16-7.
