After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nipmuc Regional, Medfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Norton Lancers 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won eight in a row.

Medfield wouldn't go down easily and took Norton into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-27, 19-25, 15-10.

When it comes to explaining why Norton lost, don't look at Alex George. Despite the final result, he had 32 digs and one assist. George is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Medfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Norton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Medfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Bellingham on the 10th. As for Norton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional on the 10th.
