Basketball Recap: Logan Takes a Loss

Logan lost against Bear River back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Logan Grizzlies took a blow against the Bear River Bears, falling 63-25. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-6.

Bear River had a senior duo take command as Emily Robison went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points in addition to seven boards and three steals and Aubree Fry posted eight points and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robison has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shelby Wilkinson, who had eight points and six rebounds.

Logan has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Bear River, they moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Logan will venture away from home to challenge American Prep WV at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bear River, they will challenge Green Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Green Canyon will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bear River surely won't give up without a fight.
