Baseball Recap: Morgan Park Takes a Loss

If Morgan Park was riding high fresh off their 13-4 takedown of Chicago Washington on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 10-6 to the Stagg Chargers on Tuesday.

Morgan Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-6-2. As for Stagg, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-18.

Coming up, Morgan Park will head out on the road to take on Lindblom at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.42 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Stagg, they will face off against Oak Lawn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
