Volleyball Recap: Doniphan Comes Up Short

The Doniphan Dons didn't have quite enough to beat the Malden Green Wave on Saturday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Doniphan sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-20.

Doniphan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Malden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-3.

Doniphan has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against New Madrid County Central on the 15th. As for Malden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Zalma on the 13th.
