Wray is 1-9 against Limon since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Eagles will square off against the Badgers at 1:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wray comes in on four and Limon on seven.
Wray is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 50-14 win over Burlington. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Austin Collins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 89 yards and four TDs, while also throwing for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 16 passes. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Wray also got a significant boost from Aaron Tena, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wray was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burlington only rushed for 119.
Meanwhile, Limon's offense rose to the challenge against a Pirates defense that boasted an average of only 11.91 points allowed on Saturday. The Badgers blew past Monte Vista 50-14. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Pirates are ranked 95th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jacob Jaklich and Camdyn Tacha. Jaklich rushed for 140 yards and two scores on only 12 carries while Tacha gained 85 total yards. Tacha has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Limon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Brooks Scherrer was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself.
Wray's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Limon, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Wray has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 199.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Limon struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 222.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Wray suffered a grim 28-7 defeat to Limon in their previous matchup back in October. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Jaklich, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now that the Eagles know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
