Lexington won against Dwight on Saturday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Minutemen blew past the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals 17-2. The result was nothing new for the Minutemen, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Lexington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Coming up, Lexington will face off against Tremont at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will be playing at home against Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
