Whitney came into Monday's match looking for another win against Davis Sr., but Emma Phillips wouldn't allow it. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Monday thanks in part to Phillips, who had 15 digs and one assist. That assist was her first of the season.

Davis Sr. not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Whitney between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-19.

The victory made it two in a row for Davis Sr. and bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for Whitney, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
