            Softball Preview: Lansingburgh Knights vs. Hudson Falls Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            The Lansingburgh Knights will head out on the road to  take on  the Hudson Falls Tigers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lansingburgh's hitters haven't  had much luck over their past three  games, but Tuesday's   contest will give them a chance to turn things around.
Lansingburgh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They beat Scotia-Glenville by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  2-1.
 Guiliana Patregnani spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on two hits and racked up 15 Ks.

 On the hitting side, Lansingburgh's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Kyleigh Wilmott, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  run. Wilmott is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games she's  played.
Meanwhile, Hudson Falls entered their tilt with Cohoes on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against Cohoes by a score of  6-1.
  Anna Winter was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Hudson Falls' win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Lansingburgh, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season.
