Utica Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Falcons have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Utica Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Utica Ford by a score of 6-2 on Thursday.
